ABOUT US

Himali Ex-Children Forum is a group of children who have spent their childhood and most precious time growing up in the non-profit organization Forum for the Welfare of Himalayan Children - FWHC located at Bhakunde - 18 Pokhara. FWHC is a non-profit organization, that helps Nepalese children from poor and remote areas in their education, further education, and vocational training.

The main goal of Himali Ex-Children Forum is to reconnect and cooperate with all the children who have grown up in FWCH and also to help each other in difficulties, support them, and help FWHC through various volunteering mediums.

First general assembly and gathering

November 2023

Our first general assembly was held on November 11th at FWHC Bhakunde. We are grateful to the HECF members, FWHC staff, and Nepal House Co-Founder Mr. Basanta Subedi for guiding our new organization with their experience and support.

The main topics discussed on this day were how to strengthen the forum, manage its social media and website, hold a new election, organize social events, and raise funds for it.

Rahul Lamichhane got financial support for his research paper publication

May 2023

The Himali Ex Children Forum Adhoc Committee has decided to provide Rahul Lamichhane with Rs 11000 to publish his research paper. Rahul is expected to return the money within 3 months. We wish him good luck with his research.

Donation Received

March 2023

We received a donation of Rs. 15000 from Tanka Gurung, Krishna Kumar Rajbahak, and Sijan Gurung to support our upcoming events. We are grateful for their generosity and encouragement.

First Footsteps

February 2023

Our temporary board members recently registered the forum with the help of FWHC Staff, Tanka Gurung, Krishna Kumar Rajbahak, and Sijan Gurung. Coordinator Krishana Kumar Nagarkoti gathered information with the help of Krishna Kumar Rajbahak.

We thank FWHC for their support and the Ex-Childrens for participating in new beginnings.
